Who do you think is the most improved player this year?

For forwards I'll nominate Slafkovsky, . Went from a 21 points pace over the course of 82 games in his rookie year, to a 50 point pace this year.

Has 58 points in 117 career games. 48 of those points were this season.

For defenseman. I'd pick Thomas Harley, 46 points in 77 games. Previously had 8 points in 40 games.

Who are some other candidates?

Definitely not overall but Raymond is the candidate for the Wings

From questioning if he’ll be a true 1st line player to questioning if he will be a star player over the past year. Him and Larkin and Seider are some of the few players who have kept their play up over this dreadful display the past 20 games or so.

He’s the real deal

Oilers Homer vote for Evan Bouchard. Yes he has his occasional defensive breakdowns, but the guy has really taken the next step.

40pts in 82 games last year and +6 averaging 18:34 of ice time.

This year 79pts in 77 games, +34 and leading the team in ice time (over 23 minutes per game)

Drouin would absolutely be part of this conversation.

His overall production didn't improve by a whole lot(Although he did still set a new career high and has a decent chance to hit 60 points for the first time in his career)... But I truly have never seen a player go from such a complete liability defensively and as soft as what Drouin was before this year, to the player he has become for the Avs. Its been absolutely amazing to watch.

It might not be the intent of the idea but the goal scoring dynamic that Quinn Hughes added this year has been very noticeable.

And every time Hab fans would propose Drouin to Avs, Avs fans would laugh us off.

That said, I'm really happy for Drouin. Most Hab fans (myself included) knew he would thrive in a quieter market. Hope he gets to 60 pts.
