We really need to stop these ugly goals. like honestly.
(but at least we got a point). Reimer played well after, but still....

We never got possession back after Spaling got rubbed out to the outside on a 3on3 like the worthless plug he is.
Now, please proceed with the Reimer hate.

That was quite the defensive ineptitude on that last goal. Unbelievable that Kindl could walk right in like that against NHL caliber players.

3 on 3 opens things up a lot with a fast pace and creates confusion... All 3 players looked lost there. Also keep in mind this is a new format so it's not like the players are used to it. They just had a split second brain fart and that was that

The long talked about decline of the Detroit Red Wings appears to be finally playing out this year. They are bad and look poised to break their playoff streak. I will cry myself to sleep if they win the lottery.

But really, good game by the Leafs, not sure what Babcock was doing putting Spaling and Winnik out for the 3on3, there are better options for 3on3 than that. He pulled the tank card tonight for management I think.

It was pretty bad. You should have seen the Marlie game. 3-0 break, 2 on 1's etc. The difference was that Sparks made the saves to get them to the SO and ultimately the victory.

Kindl must have felt like an A-list celebrity because he got a red carpet to the net. Bad defence on that play; have to pressure the puck carrier. Terrible play by both JVR and Gardiner.

Seemed like it was JVR's job to pick up and pressure Kindle while Gardiner was to peel off and take the other guy heading to the net .. When JVR didn't do that Gardiner got caught in a bad spot and reacted poorly by not pressuring Kindl or closing the gap
