Morin directly led to the 2nd goal for the Rags. Gave the puck right in the slot to Pirri to score. But was put out on the ice again afterwards and was fine.

Laughton is either scratched or in the AHL, just not seeing it. Read will stick around most likely. Konecny could definitely hang in the Top 6. I don't see that he can't make it, but I'm still thinking he's sent back.

Konecny was all over the ice once again.

Provy was excellent

Ghost looked like his old self after his quiet preseason debut. Very good game.

Morin was good overall but made a poor turnover for NYs 2nd goal

But it's good to see Voracek looking fast and strong; Couturier looks like a million bucks; and Konecny again was one of their best players.

Laughton and Read, though -- ugh. Not looking like NHL players.

Voracek back to form + Weise/Gordon will help the PK (one of our major weaknesses last season) + by the end on the season, I expect Provorov, Morin and Konecny to be with the big club. Provorov will make it out of camp. Ghost still awesome... hey, this season should be a lot of fun. Barring major injuries, we should do much better than last year.

Provorov, Morin and Konecny will bring a "wind of freshness" (don't know how to say this in English, but basically new guys that will positively change the dynamic of the team... )

Not really concerned about Read and Laughton. We can do well without them.

Weal has made a case for a roster spot with the Flyers this season.

The way I see it 3 forwards make it to the NHL and 3 then go to the AHL.

Laughton < only for first 3 games then AHL

When Schenn return after his 3 game suspension Laughton is the one I'd send to the AHL.

Saw the 2nd half of the game. Morin is not ready yet, needs time. Provy is ready, Haks loves to put him on PK. TK is really good. Tough decision for Hexy ahead. Read/Laughton, don't know what happened. Did they just got worse over night? ....Holy ****...Jake pulled the Jagr move.

If Voracek is really back to form, do you put him with Giroux again or do you roll two lines with a star player on it?

I'd try something like

Schenn - Giroux - Voracek
Konecny (whenever he makes it) - Couturier - Simmonds

for our top 6

I believe he needs NHL experience more than time at this point. He lacks of consistency, but that will come while playing at the high level. He has nothing to learn from the AHL anymore imo. I'd keep both him and Provorov after camp.
