Two very good selections.
The Harold Baines induction was terrible. The answer isn’t to make him the new standard for induction. I don’t want Cooperstown’s criteria to match up with what they use for the Basketball Hall of Fame.
And? His case isn’t any stronger than Garvey and Whitaker probably has a stronger case than both.
If Harold Baines is in then Dwight Evans should be as well
I hate this argument. Why don't they put hundreds of other players that were better than Baines into the HoF while they're at it?
The thing is though that he never wanted to be in the hallmiller should have been inducted years ago
no single person has had more effect on the game in the last 50 years than he has
And? His case isn’t any stronger than Garvey and Whitaker probably has a stronger case than both.

The thing is though that he never wanted to be in the hall
He was asked about it many times before he died and he said he didn't want to go in
The case for Evans blows Simmons out of the water.
Simmons has an extremely weak case and if it weren't for Baines would be the new low for the HOF

And he walked a ton and played a great rightfield.
