Aaron Judge against the Orioles in 2017: .462 AVG, 10 HR, 21 RBI
Is that good?
How many strikeouts?
I'd also love to see his splits with Holliday in and out of the lineup.
They've talked on YES about the mentorship there, and the tangible thing I've noticed is that Judge doesn't swing as hard when Holliday is with him. Holliday reminds him that he doesn't have to TRY and hit homeruns, they just go out because he's 300 pounds. Plus, having Holliday behind you is less pressure to do something, which means a lighter swing.
I mean, look at that last homer. It's a line drive into the gap but it goes 420 feet because Aaron Judge.
The important thing is, Judge has to get into that habit on his own, which I think he will do eventually. But Holliday would make a hell of a hitting coach someday.
