That being said, I can't see anyone but the Nats beating the Cubs in the NL. No one else can match their depth imo.

Maybe if Kershaw gets healthy and turns around his post-season woes, pitching games 1, 3 and 5.

If nothing else regardless of how the year goes for the Cards, he at least makes baseball very fun to watch. Nice to see Matheny use him today in a close game for multiple innings. Mo must have given some undercooked bacon this morning to Bowman, Broxton, et al.

Also credit Luke Weaver for getting Bryant with the bases loaded early in the game to keep it 2-0. Game could have been over there easily, especially for a big league debut in Wrigley, very tough spot.
