Aho is a great young superstar centre. But Marner is in between Kane and Gaudreau at the same age and is tracking well.

LOL. Players don't always get paid what they're worth. You have some GM's that are morons like Chia who overpay guys like Lucic. Then you have some GM's that are major morons, like Dubas, who overplay everyone on their team. Carolina won't be overpaying, because Dubas isn't their GM.

What about Lindholm? Marner would be a good base for a deal, not sure what the Leafs would have to add with Toronto's 1st round pick in LA though.
