Both young players have incredibly bright futures. Marner is an amazing offensive talent who also plays a great 200 foot game. Tkachuk is, in my opinion, a bigger stronger more skilled version of Brad Marchand. Both players are key parts to their respect teams future. Who do you think is more valuable?

Close, although I think Marners game will age better considering the style Tkachuk plays.

Both top wingers in today's NHL at their respective ages is quite impressive.

You had me on the bigger Marchand comparison until you said more skilled.

Anyway great poll. Amazing young guys. Can’t decide.

For Calgaty you stick with Tkachuk. We already have what Marner brings, we cant afford to lose what Tkachuk brings

I still have more faith in Marner being a consistent top scorer, but Tkachuk is making me rethink his potential

Voted Tkachuk as a Flames homer and a card carrying Leafs hater. Won't begrudge anyone who takes Marner tho, kid is very talented and has a bright future in this league. If Tkachuk could skate like Marner he would be a top 5 player in the league, really the only part of his game that's not upper echelon.

Think we're just seeing the tip of the iceberg with these players.

The fact that Tkachuk has even made this a debate despite how good of a season Marner has had is very impressive.

I take Marner but it’s close.

Tkachuk has really taken a nice step forward this season.

true, but Marner is 6th in 5v5 points, 1st in primary points. Tkachuk is 55th and 54th respectively (on a per minute basis). Still pretty great considering who he plays with, but not quite as good as Marner

You wont see many people argue who is the better point producer, I think this comes down to what else Tkachuk brings to the table that Matner simply doesnt

There are 93 first line players.
And a second line player being 55th isn't impressing you?
