Add in a 6'6" 220 pounder plus to that group, especially if Harley gets returned.

Fine work by fellow poster @Brock

Broke down the import draft and has this scouting report about Kasper Larsen

19. Mississauga Steelheads - Kasper Larsen - Defense
The Steelheads sure are trying to build a massive blueline after selecting 6'6 Danish defender Kasper Larsen. He fits right in with the likes of Harley, Holm, and Del Mastro. Larsen already played pro against men this year with Rodovre (which also rostered former OHL standout defender Nick Crawford). He was also the only U18 player to record a point in the Danish men's league this past season.

I really like how they have been building this team over the last couple years, I was looking forward to this season even while last year was playing out. This really helps shore the D corps if Harley doesn't return at some point.

Thanks for sharing. I'm certainly glad that they brought on a player with some pro experience, I assume he'll be able to step into the lineup and contribute in the top 4 right away. Should be a solid 2 year player for the Steelheads and I'm looking forward to seeing him in the fall

Very happy to see Bjorgvik-Holm drafted yesterday but also disappointed for Hardie. Surprised that a 34 goal scorer wasn't picked. I am sure he will come back next season with a vengeance

Yeah, I thought he would have been drafted as well, he went on a roll during the last half of the season. I was looking forward to this season even before last season wound up, Hardie was one of the main reasons.

I see Ranger played with Trenton in the OJHL today. I guess JR finally pulled the plug.

Read the notes at the bottom. I watched the highlights.... it was the kid.

Gotcha. Does him not being on their roster mean its just a loan?

Also not a good sign to be getting lit up in the OJ for a legit OHL goalie. Outshot them 54-34 and lose 6-3?

Is this his first game back or did he play for them already?

Apparently he’s there for this coming season. Shame the kid didn’t move there last season. 26 games played in two OHL seasons means zero development and it showed. Just another JR casualty!

Your Ranger had back to back shut-outs and additional win after that first game.
He did a real nice interview on our local station. Seems like a nice kid you had there.

That's great to hear. Portokalis was definitely a guy that needed to add a bit of strength and confidence to his game to flourish

The Portokalis-McShane-Tullio line is dominating through 2 games in the pro league in Slovakia

4 goals and 6 points in 4 games. I was thinking he would have a break out year this season with Washer, Schwinny and Hardie drawing the most attention on the first two lines.

Wasn't aware he was there, thanks for posting this on this thread @Generalsupdates something to keep a eye on when there isn't much else to keep a eye on.

Nice to see some of the call ups regarding recent Steelheads. R McLeod was looking like a guy on fire recently in Bakersfield and gets the call up to Edmonton, has to quarantine before he hits NHL ice.

Just looked up K Washers stats from this past year, check out the PIMS
