Nah, he did a very good job with certain key things. It was just the few things he did wrong that sunk him. He can absolutely provide value to a team so long as he sticks to his strengths.

Just don’t let him pick the coach and realize that he’s going to be overly patient when it comes to tolerating placeholders.
He did a great job without adding picks, drafting, clearing up cap space, and teeing is up to compete in the near future. He just hesitated at the last step before we could start competing... fixing the coaching situation. He deserved to get fired, but we can acknowledge that while also appreciating the things he did do well.
