They have changed coaches , They have changed role players , They have changed systems , etc

Ovy was awful tonight and Backstrom was MIA

Time for a big core shakeup trade. It worked for Wings in 90's when they traded for Shanahan and moved out Coffey and Primeau

Their core died tonight.

Yeah that second goal was a killer for the team momentum wise. Seems like in some regard Ovi was responsible for both goals. I think if you're Washington he's the guy you trade over Backstrom, Kuznetsov, and such. I liked the play of Williams and Oshie this series and I think it would be wise to bring them back if they want to still compete.
