It's not a 100% given that Gustavsson is on the team next year.Guess they don’t think Wallstedt is ready?
Where would he go? Is Minnesota trying to cash in on what looks to be a sellers market for goalies this summer? It's not a 100% given that Gustavsson is on the team next year.
Not sure. Just wouldn't be totally shocked if they went with a Fleury/Wallstedt tandem if they could find a taker.Where would he go? Is Minnesota trying to cash in on what looks to be a sellers market for goalies this summer?
Must have a 38 year old cutoff for that.Atleast on this one he let him playout the season before resigning him...
Also kinda surprised Minnesota doesn't wanna roll with a Gus/Wallstedt tandem next year
...But why?
No faith in Gus/Wallstedt -tandem?
This is exactly what I think will happen. Gus gets a majority of starts with Wall and Fleury splitting. Vet to mentor the young guy entering the league.I think a lot more teams are going to set up 3 goalie rotations this offseason. Especially if their third goalie is waiver exempt like Wallstedt is and can get games in the AHL if necessary.
hard for vegas fans to empathize with having $14m less in payroll to get you to the playoffs considering the knights' penchant for cheating.Appreciate what he has done, but he kind of sucks now.
