Good:

-Miller. He was stellar. Two unfortunate bounces led to goals, but he kept them in it.
-Hodgson. Was competing in the defensive zone, and two opportunistic goals.
-Myers. Thought this was his best game in awhile.
-That first assist by Ott.
-I thought 23-63-21 had some good possession in the offensive zone at times.
-McCormick. Did his job well.

Bad:

-We have to do something about these shot disparities.
-The crappy play leading to the 2nd goal against.

Ugly:

-We beat LA. Not going to put anything here.

Gonna miss Miller. That was a vintage Hasek game, he just carried them to victory.

Myers really looking confident lately. Good to see.

The Good -

- Miller. Imagine this team without good goaltending. Yeah. Um.... Yeah.
- Finally a home win and something to cheer about for the faithful.
- Physical game -- lots of contact and a heavy game on a team that sets the bar for heavy style most of the time.
- Ott back to dink-a-tude and was much better tonight. 10 hits, a couple nice passes, only one penalty and even that was a headscratcher.
- Hodgson finishing. Best CBO target right?
- Foligno continues to bring the body.
- Ristolainen's physical game is coming along just fine. Funny on a night when he's got three video montage hits (two in the second, the Brown hit in the third), he gets one hit on the scoresheet. But the kid knows his angles and how to put guys on their ass. Love it.

Bad

- Widely outshot. Like, they had no business being in this game outshot.
- Quick getting hurt. Tweaking his twerker, soon on twitter tweets, true?

Ugly

- Six weeks to get a home win and it is a Rolston special -- in the skills competition.
- Benching Grigo. What the **** man, what the **** did he do wrong? Oh, that's right, there was a turnover at the blueline in the first period. Heaven help him if he does something actually stupid like **** up the eventual GTG or take a penalty in the last minute of the game.
- Scratching Larsson. Rolston, you suck.

Good:
Miller was Olympic Miller tonight.
Hodgson -- possibly his best game of the year
Myers
Ristolainen -- very physical, solid in his own end tonight

Bad:
Pysyk all of a sudden looks a bit tentative with the puck below the goal line.
Boarding call on Ott

Ugly:
Got nothing

Good:
Miller with another great game
Agree about our young D, Myers has been playing solid hockey for weeks, and Risto is going be to a player.
Ott showed up
Coho with a pair

Bad:
Another Rolston special

Ugly:
Foligno at center. Please, make it stop. Give Girgs a shot?

Of course, you realize that this now gives RR ample reason to scratch him for the next game.

Reason? RR don't need no stinkin' reason to do what he does.

He coaches from the gut.

Hilarious: Every other team that is "tanking" also won tonight. Which is exactly what happened all of last year and what happened when we beat San Jose. This team refuses to allow separation.

I'm not a believer in games in hand one way or the other so for all intents Edmonton is only 1 point ahead of us for last. And they play in the harder conference. And you can argue Buffalo's first 20 games was their hardest stretch of the season until the Olympics. Edmonton can't possibly take another forward can they?

Had similar thoughts about a Hasek-esque game where they win while getting outshot 3 to 1.

I rather enjoy that Miller and Duffer and going to the 'look like a complete spaz' facial hair for Movember.

Weren't you the one that said the Sabres should waive/buyout Hodgson?

Isn't there some way to immortalize this idiocy so everyone knows not to take him seriously?

Was he on the bench long before our 2nd goal? I only notice him out after we got the lead. I thought it was a defensive move.

Good: I thought the lines made sense finally. First line-OHM line, Possession line-LES, Checker line-GFF and the chemistry line from the Ducks game-GMT. Everybody tried after the 1st goal, may have actual outplayed the kings. Blocked shots and hits.

Bad-before the first goal. The shots on goal/corsi.
