Pretty surprising to be honest, I really thought I made it "bad enough" to not get a single response like the ones I did. That specific picture along with the "that a boy", that I thought was necessary to make the comment be taken as a joke has made the literal emotional responses that much better, imo.

This doesn't really address the point I was trying to make. See, sometimes we get things wrong. That's something that all of us have to occasionally accept - that we are capable of wrongness. Heck, I've been wrong sometimes and I still find it hard to adapt from time to time. But if we all want to be better people, it's something you have to understand and embrace. Just learn to understand these things - like I keep trying to do (albeit not always with 100% success; don't judge me! ) - and we'll all be happier.

So, yeah. It's pretty straightforward, in the end. Many such things are, though, if they're just explained properly. And now that that's done, really the whole thing should be settled and we don't need to talk about it anymore. At all.
