Milbury was the coach. He didn't trade anyone.

"Milbury, 38, said he decided to make the switch a week after the Penguins ended the season for Boston in six games.

He said he had been eyeing a management move for a while and was not leaving coaching because of stress from the job.

Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs said in a statement that he welcomed Milbury`s move because it will lessen the responsibilities of Harry Sinden, who just completed his 19th season as Bruins general manager and second season as the team`s president."

Bruins might be ready to deal Janney

Milbury was named Assistant GM in Boston on May 31st 1991. Before he traded Janney to St. Louis he publicly criticized Janney.

During a road trip while Adam Oates was on the Bruins, scoring was down, Milbury publicly criticized Oates.

If you think Milbury picked out his suits without an order from Sinden, never mind trading a player, you know nothing about that era of Bruins management.

Entertaining as usual

says Reilly good with puck not very good defensively/ he clearly wouldn’t have signed him / personally my issue with Reilly & Forbort is not signing or money but 2 years would have been my limit as they did with Haula & Foligno. Lohrei & hopefully Harris two left shots are ready in 2 years (taking a leap like Felipe a third rounder of Carolina and captain of Northeastern will repeat with Haver-hills Jordan Harris a smooth smart LHD who’s a senior captain and would be a great addition)

says schedule in March & April brutal

not a problem with Henry buying Penguins but says the flightless birds appear to be on way down and facing a rebuild after long run of success
