That's how the Spartans and Wolverines compare in football since Michigan State joined the league in 1953. The Wolverines have a 71 winning % and the Spartans have a 56 winning %.

Michigan's defense is going to give them a chance to win any game this year. They definitely missed De'Veon Smith today even though Johnson had some solid carries. Rudock still scares the crap out of me though. Butt should be THE target on that offense. They need to use him as often as possible.

I think they are as good as any team in the league, but they are really playing down to their opponents right now. Also I think losing Narduzzi really hurts.

LJ Scott should be the starting back too, he's a beast.

The offense is meh but the D is good. Very good. Yeah, you gotta consider the competition but LSU's D gave up 2 TDs to Eastern Michigan in a half. Michigan's D has given up 2 TDs in the last 4 games.

They need to stop sleeping against these teams or the ohio state game means nothing

Ohio State did the same exact thing today.

Both are overrated at this point. But because the Big Ten stinks they'll continue to get a pass. Unless they really screw up and manage to lose.

Big ten is the best conference in college football. SEC is overrated. Pac 12 would be but they dont have that one team that puts them over the top. they all just beat each other up and nobody comes out of it as a winner.

Ohio State, Michigan State, Northwestern, Soon to be powerhouse Michigan. Theres also some good teams in wisc

Second no-hitter of the season for Scherzer.

Man, it's painful watching him pitch for the Nats. At least they're not good either.

Guess you missed Wisco laying an absolute egg at Camp Randall yesterday against Iowa... Ugly game that was, my buddies from Wisconsin are furious about how poorly they played and the Chryst era is off to a rocky start up there.

#7 UCLA just list at home by 15 to Arizona State and #3 Ole Miss just got blown out at Florida. I'm not sure who you think should be rated higher than the Big Ten. Big 12 teams look great running and gunning against each other but they usually end up ******** the bed in bowl games against other top power conference teams.

College football is wacky. Good teams lose to mediocre teams all the time for all kinds of reasons. Weather, injuries, matchups. And games get out of hand a lot faster in college too because college players go on tilt a lot easier than pros.

No matter how good he pitches from here on out I'm glad Detroit didn't give hm that contract..rather pay Price

You think they'll outbid the Cubs, Yankees, Dodgers, and Red Sox for Price?

At least the Tigers accomplished the goal of obtaining a top 10 pick before today.

One more win or worse in these last three games would have been an utter disaster.

If Mr. I wants hm..certainly but since they didn't really talk contracts when he was here, more than likely I think he ends up in Chicago with Maddon

Their win n Chicago cost them a spot in the draft order as it is..they tied with San Diego because of it

The best Detroit could have done was #8 and it was unlikely they would be swept by Chicago. A team just as bad as them with nothing to play for. More so, we had both Verlander and Norris starting. If not for the bullpen coming through, Detroit would have won this series.

In addition, they wouldn't have any tiebreakers over Chicago, Seattle or San Diego in the event of a tie.

Until the injuries to Norris and Sanchez, a top 10 pick looked a bit unlikely. Would have been nice to be ahead one more spot but just securing that pick is good enough for me. Because I know we will spend a little in free agency.
