Nice! Ferland was a great fit on the top line with Gaudreau and Monahan. Wreaks havoc out there most of the time. Good low AAV

Also, I think this is more speculation than it is confirmed. He's saying they're working on a deal based on that, not that it's a done deal.

3.5mil for 25 points good deal for Ferland, maybe a little bit high for Calgary but it's ok. Just a little bridge deal.

Ferland is a decent 200 ft player and is a good agitating winger plus he's good at winning pick battles in the corners. So it's a fair deal.

I think it's 3.5 total, not per year. It'd be 1.75 per.

There were one or two posters who said Ferland when asked who the best power forward in the game was. I thought of it when I saw this thread, as well. It was really stupid.

Good player though.

I think he's got some untapped upside offensively. Will be interesting to see if he can stick with Monahan and Gaudreau
