Possible yet improbable...

Not follow the Seattle situation, eh?

Hate to burst your village's bubble, but there is a Seattle group in place, ready to buy the Coyote and move them ASAP to Seattle. Follow the Seattle situation and you will see who and why.

Didn't one of the NHL league guys while the Vancouver were in the playoffs the year they went to the cup finals spoke that there were groups interested in bringing a NHL team to seattle.

Seattle
Heck Hansen has already stated that groups have reached out to him in regards to the NHL, I don't think there will be a lack of groups wanting to own.

Or we can take Patoqfc's word that it is improbable

They haven't revealed themselves publicaly yet all that matters is that the NHL is well aware of the potential groups in the seattle market that wants to bring a team to seattle. As soon as the NBA Kings situation is take care off and its a done deal that we are getting them the focus will then be on getting a NHL team.

Ok, thanks. Not that it probably isn't true, but the whole "mystery investor who won't step out from behind the curtain until the arena deal is done" angle does seem a bit dubious.

Cause at the moment its not a sure thing that the arena will get built hence why no one else besides Levin has gone public about the interest in a NHL team. Everyone knows we need a building before we get a team. And there is a chance that the NBA could reject Hansen's offer.
