not sure the division is that great this year.

but i think WSH and NYR are in real trouble this year.

and i don't buy NJ's or PHI's hot starts at all.

Agreed. Parity sure but I don't see it as the clear #1 or #2 division right now like in years past.

I think we'll end up seeing Columbus/Pittsburg in 1/2 spots with Wash in number 3. Then we'll have the Devils/Canes/Flyers/Rangers battling for the 2 wild card spots with the Isles in last.

We'll never know for sure until they start out 20-0.

As it is, they started out 3-3-1 which is tied for 2nd/3rd last in the division.

I will point out as well that all through last year's playoffs McCurdy was the one guy who consistently had the Pens's cup chances as higher than almost anyone else. At the start of the playoffs and all the way through. Despite no Murray, no Letang, and other significant players missing.

We had this debate last year.

He also had the Sens losing every series.
