This team is head and shoulders worse than the DoD Oilers

The DoD Oilers were probably just as bad when the injuries racked up and they became the Oklahoma City Barons.

The Oilers are 45-13 or something like that after their horrid start. Anybody who criticizes this team is missing the point, they've done everything realistically possible to set themselves up for a long playoff run and now we wait to see if the randomness of the NHL playoffs falls in their favor.

That record is insane. They have a chance for 50+ wins in the last two games.

Nice W but where was any of this in the game that mattered against the Nucks. Big opportunity was missed there. This game is meaningless.

There were zero of these kinds of passes up from the D in the Nucks game.

Oh well.

Crazy that teams are already finished the season before the Oilers even got on the ice tonight and still two completely meaningless games left.

I think so , he was killing it in the minors before his call up and he’s looked good here so far. Brings energy and does more than Ryan or Carrick imo.

A well rested Connor mind you. I know the division is still not clinched yet but I'd like to see Drai and Hyman in particular rested for one of these games. They're both running on fumes a bit.

That first Skinner goal was terrible. How can we expect to get far in the playoffs with blunders like that? Terrible goalie.
