Should have watched it, you mean.

And you just completely ignored my break down of your hot take— are you still calling it a head shot? Then you don’t know what a head shot is. Hit from behind? Then.. we’ll, you get the point.

And I did watch it. Several times. I’m also assuming you’re watching the Pens feed if you’re putting any weight into what the “announcers” keep saying about it.

Edit- read everyone else’s replies about your ridiculous take
Just did read it. Yeah your probably right, sorry for not responding to your post correctly, I def overreacted

Penalty? Yeah. McCabe tried to ease up + turn away. He's not getting suspended for that and the Pens pxp overplayed it tremendously.

Ugh its just a boarding he came from a short distance to hit him in the boards...like any other boarding.

Can't turn into the boards like that safely. He was in a crappy spot there but that's on ZAR IMO. 2 minutes is the right call.

As a diehard pens fan and a zar fanboy... very very incidental. That was on zar for turning (not having seen McCabe). No suspension needed. Just a penalty.

Don't turn into the boards dummy.

So many players do it thinking it makes them invulnerable but really it just puts them in a horrible position.

2 minutes imo
Not enough force to be a major and didnt see numbers until the very end
McCabe also doesn’t follow through “through” the boards if that makes sense

Isn't that the same fellow who hits players in the head with his own head?

Dude was fully committed to what would have been a clean hit when the guy turned. Hope he's okay but nothing overtly dirty here.

Yeah as mentioned a hundred times already, maybe not turn your back when you're about to get hit.
