1st from a contender, good prospect, throw in roster player and conditional 1st for resigning.

It'll be this. Very similar to the Brassard return, but the extra conditional 1st is more than appropriate.

Target Fabbro, Hague, Wilde, Mete, Andersson, Bear. There are more but these guys should be NHL ready very soon, if they're not already.

Dorion is in such a vice with this trade. They can't let Dutch leave for nothing, but he will have to break his losing streak on trades.

Made worse by having to deal with Stone and Dzingel and possibly Ceci .. Dorion brings a lot of this on himself. Imagine giving up the futures and a very valuable asset in (Turris) to get Duchene and then 2 months later deciding or understanding they can't keep Karlsson and will start a rebuild ... The guy should have been fired instead he was extended to be Melnyk's fall guy.. Sens are in one sorry state.. He needs to get a bidding war going to come out of this with some skin left.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of Dorion as a GM (he's a really good scout), but some of his trades haven't been awful.

Like for example, that Brassard trade to Pittsburgh was gold.

The Karlsson trade was also really good for this team. Should have gotten more, but his hands were tied, and there was no way in hell Karlsson was staying. Tierney and Demelo. Have done really well and Balcers and Norris both look like they'll be good players. Who knows about those 1st and 2nd rounders.

Acquired Condon for a 5th which got us into the playoffs which led to that Round 3 Game 7 2OT loss to the pens (the 3 year extension was dumb).

He shed that Phaneuf contract for what was almost free (let's be real we all knew Gaborik was done).

He's had some reallllly bad trades (Hoffman, Zibanejad, Burrows (not horrible but extension was also dumb), but they haven't all been that bad.

The big mistake there was waiting until after the draft to go through the farce of offering him a new deal.
