All I've seen is his skating on the gifs, and it looked like his edge work is excellent but hard to gauge his speed. I've not seen Hunt skate to any great degree but the guy is definitely not setting the world on fire in the AHL. Even Griffith, Marchessault and Pirri were excellent pt producers right out of the juniors in the AHL. If Mascherin is a Hunt clone, then he needs to go back to juniors and get to work. :)

Speed isn't high end but I'd say it's just above average, he can keep up fine. Acceleration could use some work, skating overall is good.

Points alone doesnt make you an NHL ready Player. Like Batting said it belongs in the overall play. And good defensiv game is hard to teach.

I remember Huberdeaus first and second Season, both where bad defensiv Games, not along from the Linemates also with decision plays and off the puck play.
But what we need is creative offensive Play.
