Jacques played and coached for the Habs. Hence his connection to the franchise. Just like Houle’s father played and was Habs GM.

I think some posters thought I was being sarcastic with my nepotism comment when I truly had no idea who he was. When i looked into him he seemed like a good candidate. Was being a 100% genuine which isn’t always the case

Roy offered him a job in Colorado in 2013 but Laperrière decided to stay in Quebec with his family. His wife had just given birth. I'm glad he gets another chance in pro hockey.
