Not probably. You don't get released if you've got an immediate heart problem and in serious danger. He could have had an irregular heartbeat which means more testing.

I think Pysyk thought he might have had a slight case of Calderitis...But it is clear there is no way he could get Calder.....probably why the doctors let him go.

I hope this was nothing severe.

It reminds me of that incident with Coach "K" of Duke basketball fame a few years ago. He sort of passed out at a game and everyone went crazy, assuming he had a stroke or whatever.

Afterward, Coach "K" said something like "I'm an idiot and this was no big deal. I was bent over for a long time then got up too quickly and sort of fainted."

At least that is my recollection of the event.

I hope Mark was just dehydrated, tired, and whatever else...and he kind of fainted, but no more.

Wasn't there a similar thing with Pavelec a few years back? It was even during a game if I recall correctly.

Yeah he was standing in the crease it was just a minute into the game and he collapsed.

I had a similar incident, I had all the testing done and they said it was a combination of fatigue and dehydration that caused me to go down during a practice.
