Twitter is like Alan Dershowitz described his client, Mike Tyson, during his trial. If you get involved with it, you get what you deserve.

Marchand is the NHL's version of a WWE wrestling villain, and I think he plays to that role. And, like a WWE villain, one day he will see if he can sneak a chain saw onto the rink without the referees noticing.

I think it's threadworthy...and like I said above I have no problem with Marchand's responding. People think they are invinceable behind the computer screen and can say anything. It's not very classy but it's entertaining.

I thought pro teams have strict policies against players lashing out against fans.
Kind of surprising a pro athlete is being so angry and immature against fans on twitter.
