It was expected. He's been solid. Not a liability and definitely adds some additional skill.

A trade bait player by the dead line if he plays well. Also gives us more depth on the right side, which is weak after Kessel left.

why not 14? You have room for 2 press box forwards on a 23 man roster

This. Teams normally only carry around 1 spare d-man. Even fewer a third wheel in goal.
