So a guy who would probably have been the most talented player in the past decade-ish if not for 2 other top 10 players coming up at the same time versus a guy who is borderline a top 5 player over the past decade-ish?

Yeah, I'll take Malkin.

It was a straight on comparison for each respective year of their careers because that's the most fair for two guys who didn't enter the league at the same time. If I'd done it the other way and given Malkin credit for being better in 2006-07, you'd then have cried about it not being fair because Kane wasn't even in the league yet.
Or you could just not be dumb and skip over 2007? Its not weird to think that players should be compared over the same season vs flipping back a year like you did constantly which saw hilarious errors. If you arent going to compare Kane's 2013 season to Malkin's 2013 season then what is the point your analysis. It would have made more sense if you did respective age seasons since Malkin was 2 years post draft during his rookie year (20 years old) while Kane was and was in the league immediately post draft.

Malkin is better but career kane will pass him
. Malkin only has 4 top 10 scoring finishes. For comparisons crosby has 11 and ovechkin 8.
