Hi all, Sabres fan coming in peace!!!

Just wondering if there would be any interest in dealing Malholtra, and in turn what the price-tag attached to him might be?

Any input would be great!!!

2nd?

I'm pretty sure most Canucks fans would do it if Manny would waive his NTC.

Manny for Snake Plissken?

Limited NTC per CapGeek. The parameters of which I don't know.

I'd trade him for a 2nd when Kesler comes back, I don't see anything that really makes sense for us to target right now positionally. Our D is stacked right now, but if we trade off Ballard then a Malhotra-Leopold swap would make sense.

Gillis has said in the past he doesn't trade guys who have NTCs. I doubt he'd break that for a guy like Malhotra, who is popular in the dressing room and locally despite his declining performance. It'd send a pretty bad message.

Doubt Gillis would move him, he's pretty big in the room I think.

He is good for faceoffs and is big in the dressing room with leadership.

I would resign him for 1 year 900k

You would RESIGN him? Fu*k no. Manny needs to go once his contract is up. He should probably retire, and then he can get a job on the couching side of the game. That way he can be "great in the dressing room with leadership" and not eat up a roster spot.

i don't want to trade malholtra because of potentially bad juju but lol @ the 2nd rounder posts ITT, he's barely worth a 7th at this point

He's a 4th line C making $2.5M this year. He was effective in the first year of his contract, but post eye injury he just hasn't been the same player. I'm not sure why Buffalo would want him at that cap hit unless they are desperate for a faceoff specialist. He probably can be had for a late round draft pick or an AHL'er that could play with the big club in a pinch.

I think the OP is trolling to see what a bunch of ********* responses he gets. Vancouver Canucks are not dumping Malhotra despite the fact he has one eye and can't play very well any more.
