We need more than one RHD. Weegar could easily play 2nd or 3rd pairing with Muzzin or Dermott/Lehtonen.

Florida has plenty of money to match. Maybe he gets moved for something bigger to come in but unlikely. Weegar and Ekblad had great chemistry and I don't see the Panthers trading him to a rival.

Avs need a RHD and have a surplus of LHD's.

Conversely, Florida need a LHD and have several RHD's.
