That one time the raiders were good was kinda fun, I enjoyed that team.

It's Schefter, I don't think you even need the question mark.

I don't get why they were looking to trade him, did Mark Davis run out of money after paying Gruden? :P

There better is an impact roster player coming back along with those picks. Why not just trade him before the draft if they were that far apart on a contract?

Sigh.

This just might make the bears a playoff team.

Hopefully those two first rounders can become one Mack.

Don't think this was particularly smart from Chicago.

Mack is unbelievable, but I don't think the Bears were a piece away from contending.

This has the potential to backfire Kessel style, imo, except Mack is 27 years old - not 21.

As a fan, I’m upset to see him go.
From a business and numbers stand point, I can see why he was traded.

Would you pay 20+ million to 2 players tied up long term? The Rams can do it for Donald since Goff is still in his rookie contract...

As for the 2 first rounders, here’s hoping there at least top 10 picks..

Assuming they are not in trade do the Bears now have one of the best LB groups in NFL and depth in NFL now at position?

OLB Khalil Mack
OLB Leonard Floyd
OLB Aaron Lynch
ILB Danny Trevathan
ILB Roquan Smith
ILB Nick Kwiatkoski

I guess with the Raiders relocation fee..they couldn't afford that plus Mack's guaranteed money (since all guaranteed money immediately goes into escrow). Mark Davis sold his soul for riches and lost the best player they've had since Charles Woodson and f***ed over one of the most loyal fanbases in football. What a piece of trash.

If you're an astute drafting franchise, giving up 2 1st round picks for someone considered one of the top 2 or 3 defensive players in the game, is worth it.

The Bears defense will be solid. Trubisky needs to take a big step forward in order for them to challenge. They still might be a year away.
