Cory Schneider on one team, Roberto Luongo on another, can you tell I'm a Canucks fan?! We are very happy to add a world class goaltender like Roberto Luongo. He had an abrupt end in Vancouver but he did not deserve to be treated as poorly as he was by Canuck faithful. In a raucious environment like Winnipeg, in front of die-hard fans, we feel like Roberto will not only thrive, but can potentially be better then he was in Vancouver. He is an Olympic gold medalist and mulls a perrenial candidate for the Vezina trophy. Very happy to bring him into the fold.
