That's my opinion. A better version of Janmark. Probably less defensively able but vastly better in the offensive zone so an overall slight upgrade who can slide up or down the lineup as needed and not be a dead weight to whatever line he's on. 25-35 points a season.

He is a natural scorer. I think he will get big ice-time and 25-35 pts (56 game season vs. a normal season that would be ~40-50 pts).

Eeeesh I dunno. 25 points over a "regular" regular season seems to be what I would expect him to top out at.

Kiviranta wasn't even a top scoring threat in Liiga. That's not a knock on him. That's just a fact. He finished in the Top 70 in scoring in Liiga his last season in Finland. This is the thing about hype that a hate. Kiviranta is a good overall player, and he's proven his value in Dallas. Him scoring 25 to 35 points in Dallas would be fantastic (over an 82 game season) if he continued his overall game. Simply because he had and incredible post season, stats watchers will sour on him because he's not a Top 6, 40 to 50 point scorer. The chances of him achieving that level of scoring are slim and would be an incredible late-bloomer story.

That's something you are grateful for but you don't expect given his career to this point.
