Lucic's Bicep
Lucic is THE beast of the entire NHL. First off, what sets him apart from typical NHL goons is he can actually fight more than 15 seconds. So I'd put him as the best NHL fighter without a doubt.

Now for him against a skating young Mike Tyson, I would give the nod to Lucic. He can hit as hard as any HW boxer. He is an expert on fighting on ice so Tyson's slight extra strength isn't that big of factor. And my God.... look at that man's chest

You need a refresher on who Mike Tyson is.

One was dominating the boxing world by a fair margin.
The other one is a good hockey player and among the top-5 fighter.

Tyson would destroy Lucic every punch.
He would have knocked out Lucic with a body shot.

You should see how GSP dominated Laraque while being 100 lbs lighter...

I would not even give a chance to Lucic against a light heavyweight.

Don't know how serious this thread is !

I write as a fighting specialist, and a hockey lover.

Tyson would probably not need Lucic to go down on the ice ? (half guessing, with a risk because Tyson is an above average skilled person)

On solid ground forget it, Lucic is likely to be destroyed in seconds.

Do not compare fighting on the ice with fighting. These are 2 different things. Actually fighting on ice would be closer to wrestling ... .

Rippen was good in fighting ... small and deadly. (their are probably other good ones ... i just don't know them)
ahhh also Nasty Mirasty ... small but nasty ! with some fighting technique, you are above the others. I have not seen this skill in Lucic real fighting skills !

And Rippen was small ! Size and weight matters in fighting. Expect Tyson to be as good as Rippen, add the size, power and the world class Tyson had ... and their you go. No chance for Lucic.

Probably the first poster had a man crush more than a reasonable post.

Beware because GSP is a MMA fighter, much more complete than a boxer like Tyson. I imagine that Tyson would have little chance against GSP.

With all due respect to the high class Tyson was ... had he not bit ears and other fancy moves ... today, cassius clay, foreman, monzon would not be mentioned anymore so much Tyson would have been THE REFERENCE.

But MMA is a complete art ! while boxing is still fighting only with fists !! (not even hands ... you cannot catch !)

Tyson is and will always be THE GUY to me. Nobody could stop this guy in his prime. He was not human. His punches were like sledgehammers, he was a legit thread to kill his opponent every match.

Who would win, Federer or Wayne Gretzky if Gretzky was really good at tennis?

What kind of nonsense is this?

Lucic won't stand a chance against most of the true heavyweights from the 60'-80'S. Brown, Probert, O'Reilly would kill Him.

Assuming Tyson can stand on skates, this would be a KO in under 5 seconds.

However, if Tyson can't skate, I think Lucic survives 10, maybe 15 seconds.

on ice? tyson would be at a disadvantage because to get the full power of a punch you need strong support from your legs, and lucic is way more used to skating than him (probably)

but who am I kidding? he'd destroy lucic easily anyways

if they both just laced up the skates and hopped on the ice then I'm pretty sure Cheech would win. Tyson probably can't skate and Lucic would just wrestle him and knock him over. It's not like a hockey fight is decided in 15 rounds and this one would be over in less than 15 seconds. Now in the parking lot after the fight, well that's a whole different question...

Edit : Just saw that Tyson can skate. Yeah he's gonna take this one almost every time.

Even though this is a troll-ish thread, I ll bite.

Tyson would put lucic in the hospital. And since its bare knuckles, lucic would probably suffer from some form of brain damage.
