Honestly, yes.

This deal actually makes sense, and is good value. Clears major cap space, you don't give Lucic that long-term deal at above the $6M he's already making when he's been inconsistent/less physical/power forwards not known for aging well. Love Lucic's style and everything he's done, but I think this was the right move.

Unfortunately it's on the heels of one of the worst and most illogical trades in Bruins history.
