Lucic is too toxic - his nmc, caphit, salary, term and 2 goals in 87 games is a dealbreaker even at 50% retention.

And I wouldn’t waste assets in JP at this stage. Too much of a project.

I guess the question you’d have to ask yourself is would the hand pay that money to Lucic to play in the nhl or Ahl because if it’s the later than it’s a win for the Habs really. I’m a Bruins fan so seeing lucic in a Habs uni would hurt my souls

Why? You could bury Alzner and Schlemko in the minors too and the cost difference would favour the Habs too.
