This is the big problem, besides the non buyout nature of Lucic's contract. The extra year of term of Alzner and two years over Schlemcat would make this a silly contract for the Canadian's to trade for. There's literally no motivation for them to do this.

EDM will have a very hard time unloading Lucic. He regressed much faster than most would have thought. No team could justify that salary and term for what he actually provides.
