It's been a great run, Johnson deserves a fresh start with more offensive opportunities. I wish him the best if he's moved, and fully expect a bouceback year. He's not getting enough respect these days and is nowhere near done being an effective player, just needs a change of scenery.

Tampa: we can always put you on waivers
I expect he should clear anyways.

30 year old, with 4 years at $5M who is under .5ppg and on the most talent loaded team in the league (so expecting him to do that on any other team seems unlikely). Plus any team claiming him would be throwing away the chance to get a better player off their team.

Other than surprising moves of trading Stsmkos and McDonugh....they need to move to if the 4 ( Palat, Killorn, Goudrr, Johnson)

Johnson as a C would have the most interest.

He also might be willing to be taken seattle.

Yeah, good luck with waiving a guy like Johnson or Gourde and then turning around and asking Cirelli or Sergachev to sign a "team friendly" bridge deal.
No player should sign a team-friendly deal anyway.
