Good signing for Hagel and the team! Plenty of space now for next year, provided the cap is the projected 87.5. Tampa will have approximately 12.5 to sign Stamkos, Raddysh, 1-2 bottom 6/13th F, plus the 3LD and #7D spots. As long as they don't overpay Stamkos drastically, they should be fine, as Raddysh won't get that large of an increase more than likely and the other spots will be ~1 million or less aav types. If Tampa wants to add a better middle 6 F or better backup G, depending on how this season goes, that could change things a bit. A rental F seems reasonable at the deadline this year, should Tampa look to add(unless they are still in on Tatar now). In any case, this signing should lock up keeping both Hagel and Stamkos moving ahead, and possibly still allow the team to upgrade elsewhere next off season.
