Interesting Paul is extending there, not because Tampa wouldn't want him but because I feel like he's the kind of guy that would just absolutely cash out in UFA.

Anything under 3.5 is a steal, assuming he keeps up the level of play we saw from him. And really, even if we don't. He played like a 4m player pretty easily. Probably a little better.

I thought he was really impressive for a depth player. When they traded for him, i kinda scratched my head, i honestly didn't know what they were seeing in him but i'm glad he proved me wrong. He's probably one of the best 3rd line player in the league at this point.

Man plays with passion. I'm thinking Tampa does something crazy and gives him a 7 year contract. I don't imagine Tampa cares much about 7 years down the line. Anything to get the AAV low.
