For scenario one:
Lemieux Lindros Jagr
Leetch Macinnis
Gretzky
Mario on the left, Lindros at center and Jagr on the right. Size, strength and skill. In their primes nobody could out muscle or take the puck from these guys. On defence Al Macinnis and Brian Leetch, Macinnis for his shot at 100+ Mph and accurate, the defending forwards would have to try to stay high to protect from the bomb from the point, I chose Leetch because he was awesome at keeping the puck in when fired around the glass, is one of the best passing D ever, and is great at sneaking in from the point to give another passing option. The extra attacker has to be Gretzky who would go to work from his office behind the net, someone would have to be open with that setup and The Great One would find them.
For scenario two:
Tikkanen , Mactavish, Carbonneau
Chara Stevens
Hasek
The best scrambling goalie I've ever seen. 2 centers who are clutch on draws. All 3 forwards are great defensive players. 2 monster defensemen who can keep the front of the net clear.
