the last level on halo 1 too, not because it's hard it's not, but because it has a time limit and **** time limits

I HATE time limits if I ran a gaming company and an employee suggested a time limit for any reason they would no longer have a job.

A-men!

There is nothing I hate more than levels / tasks / quests with time limits.

Only thing time limits should be used for is like Golden Eye 64, where you needed to be super fast to unlock ****

let me beat the ****ing stage and move on, then come back later and try to do it super ninja fast to get a special costume or something.

Yeah I have no problem with it unlocking bonus' or being a side mission or something you can pick and choose to do. But to move along in a game where you have to protect someone for 5 minutes or get from point A to point B in a certain time to beat the level... hate it.

The exception being what I said above and certain racing games. But most racing games you are trying to beat the clock all the time and its not some adventure / in-depth story mission that you need to complete to move on.

to this day i still have nitemares about resident evil 4 and everything ashley

over and above everything else i can but won't rant about

why did they feel the need to include dialogue about leon being a pervert for accidentally looking up her skirt

that game was made for adults, not middle schoolers ffs

98% of her dialogue ruined what would have otherwise been a pretty creepy game

Because - Japan.

No, I am not being racist or some crap like that. I love Japan. When I went there they had vending machines where you could get girls panties and a picture of the girl who wore those panites with them. Dead serious. It's a culture thing. Stuff like that doesn't not fly in the Western world. Could you imagine if someone in the US tried to do something like that?

I completely agree with your assessment of RE4 though. Definitely took away from being creepy. At least it had the gameplay to make up for it. Still a fantastic game but yeah Ashley sucked.

Don't love. But like the game. The final boss on borderlands pre sequel? Might have been a dlc. Took me an hour to beat. I swear if there's like a weapon that does a bunch of damage Ima cry

The evil claptrap thingy? That's DLC and it also happens to blow chunks.

Never beat it either. There's grinding (which Borderlands has plenty of if you want to go after the big raid bosses and stuff) and then there's forced grinding like that boss presents.

Nope. Awful.

Some of those time limits in Goldeneye were ridiculous. They also all weren't fair.

The one on Facilities is entirely luck based on top of being insane hard. The guy with the remote has to spawn in the right room or the entire run is impossible. You can also get situations where Alec takes to long to get to the right spot as well.

It is for a cheat so it isn't exactly the same, but I absolutely hate using luck to create challenges in game.

The Watermelon Shine in Mario Sunshine can **** right off.

I remember this being really difficult, but when I replayed the game not too long ago it wasn't nearly as hard as I remembered it being.

Absolute worst shine has to be the lily pad ride special stage. Need to get Yoshi in the plaza and ride two really slow boats and recharge half way or be forced to start over.

Get to the little island to simply enter the stage and do a pain in the ass lily pad control stage. Fail and you have to do the whole yoshi part again!

This one, however, is complete ********.

NOE mission in GTA SA.

Also the mission where the Liberty City assassins are flying in to Las Venturas and you have to intercept their Lear jet in a Piper Club. I always fail that mission at least five times before I finally pass.

And any escort mission ever.

This is optional (and really only is done if you wanna 100% the game) but the "Barnstorming" air race in "San Andreas" where you need to fly a ****ing stunt plane through various checkpoints in as little of time as possible.

**** that plane. It's controls are way too oversensitive. I beat that race once, and never will do it again.

Yoshi Island bonus levels are all hard.

Poochi ain't stupid is such a pain in the ass because Poochi is extremely stupid.

Another level i had to cheese to beat. You can use the bats at the beginning of the level. The screen doesn't start moving until you move to the right a bit. The bats can be used to flutterjump up to the very top of the screen where you can land on the pillars coming down from the ceiling. If you stay up there, you can basically fly over the level since it glitches the auto scrolling for some reason.

I have beat it legitimately though. Best way to do it is to basically tap left and right on the d-pad like a madman to keep poochie stationary (essentially) as you try to deal with the obstacles.

the ambulance stuff in gta vc was way worse than anything in gta sa. Having to pick up patients that were on the beach was awful. At least in gta sa you could do the ambulance stuff in the small town by mt chilad so it was super easy. Time consuming but easy. I never finished it on gta vc or gta 3

I concur on time limits.

The only place I ever thought it added to the experience was Burnout Revenge's eliminator mode. A time limit is set, and every time the clock hit zero the last place racer would be eliminated/totaled until there was only one left. That was hella stressful and fun.

"Wrong Side of the Tracks" in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas."

It's not hard, just annoying. Especially the whole "all you had to do was follow the damn train CJ" line from Big Smoke if you fail.

It's like "**** you you backstabbing fat ****!!! I followed it!! It's not my fault you can't shoot and kill 3 enemies unless I'm lined up exactly right..." :shakehead

At least you can cheat it if it's too hard

Yeah the borderlands pre sequel wasn't great and the dlc wasn't either. That boss made me like pre sequel the least. Thank god I was claptrap that game. His skills and power are good against him and every boss really

Aztec in Goldeneye. Spawns you in a death trap of three guards armed to the teeth. If one decides to throw a grenade it is game over. So it is completely up to luck and what the AI does if you can to even start the level.

Rest of it is infinite guards who never miss armed to the teeth with assault rifles and lasers. Steel grates that you can see through but the guards can. Drone guns, and a stupid mission involving opening and closing shuttle doors and the doors are bugged on top of it.

**** that level.

The existence of "RDR: Undead Nightmare"

"Red Dead Redemption" is/was fantastic and one of the best games probably of all time.

Why you'd wanna try and ruin it with cliched zombie DLC is beyond me....
