Oh yeah, 15 points in 27 playoff games is exactly the kind of playoff warrior that the Leafs want. He'd fit right in, he could even take Kadri's old job of getting suspended every series.

Like, the Leafs haven't made it past the 1st round since 03-04 so it's not as if we can even say that any single Leafs player would perform better than he has

I'd be super happy to have a player like him put up 15pts across 27 games in the post-season, especially with everything else he brings to the game beyond points. I think most would as well.

Seems like a weird hill to plant your "Leafs 4EVA" flag on, but sure lol...

D Towes + for Tkachuk (w extension)

Avs would still have a top 4 of Makar, Byram, Girard and possibly Manson if he resigns

If he is looking for max payout it won't be with Colorado. But if he takes less he would be the agitator we need on the 2nd line with Kadri probably exiting the team. His age fits better with the core

Avs can't afford Toews next contract anyway so might as well try and turn him into a top 6 fwd that we could use
Is the plus more valuable than Toews lol

The issue with Tkachuk is he’s only going to play where he wants to play. So even though he doesn’t have a NTC, the market is really limited to the teams Tkachuk wants to play for. No one is going to offer much for him unless they think he’ll sign an extension with them.

I think this will be a huge factor in if he’s moved or not.

Calgary might have very limited trade partners.

If the Flames are looking for delicate the Leafs can offer up Nylander, plus.

2OA, pick 2 of Nolan Foote, Kevin Bahl, Fabian Zetterlund, 3rd round pick in 2023 that becomes a 2nd if Devils make the playoffs. With an extension in place of course

What about this from Buffalo:

Picks 9 and 16 this year
Choose one of Quinn, Peterka or Krebs
Isak Rosen
Erik Portillo

(no, Dahlin/Power/Samuelsson aren't on the table)

Why would Buffalo overpay like that when it is EXTREMELY unlikely he would sign long term in Buffalo?

Assen na yo!

Would prefer the 2OA and Holtz instead of the other group and picks, personally.

It stings giving up multiple top 10 picks... but the likelihood of either of those two becoming 100 point players is probably pretty low.

I'd do that. I actually love Rosen, Peterka and Krebs. Quinn not so much, so I'd pick one of those 2.

7th + Greig + Brown + JBD
I'd do that as well.
