Nylander never had any bargaining power to begin with. He's 4th on the offensive depth chart. I'd rather have him there than not, but the Leafs would fine without him.
Sandin and Liljegren were the best players. Matthews, Bracco, Lindholm, Engvall, Brooks, Rosen, and Zaitsev were also goodCan I ask for opinions on who performed well for the leafs? At work missed the game.
yeah, he struggled a lot, and his goals won't change that. but if it's helping him to secure his spot on the third or fourth lines, good for him.Ennis didn't play all that well but he scored two and what more can you ask for?
Sandgren looked very good on the ice which makes me hopeful that at least one of them steps up and bears the role of being a premier defenseman for the team.Sandin and Lil make me very excited for our future D core
Putting Ennis on the top line instead of someone who will be actually on the team is idiotic. Put Kappy on the top line..
Looks like Lindholm will have the inside track for the 4th line C
Most interesting story line will be the battle on D.
Only locks for top 6 right now is Rielly Gardiner and Zaitsev IMO.
Hainsey is a lock to make the team, but could be a #7 or #8.
Rosen, Borgman, Ozhiganov all making good cases to make the team... but Marincin, Holl and Carrick still in it as well.
Liljegren and Sandin will be promising peices for the future.
That's a quote I don't believe right now.I'll take quotes you wouldn't have believed 4 years ago for $800 Alex.
