Why is Ben Smith even on the team? We should have just had Goat playing C on 4th line before we got Boyle. Smith is 4th liner at best even in the AHL. F veteran presence nonsense.

The only reason they are in a playoff spot right now is cuz of Andersen....they stink without him. Sabres 4-2 already.... maybe 6-2 or thereabouts by the end of the game. Wake up.

Every team stinks without their #1 goalie. We are still going to be third no matter how many goals we lose this game by.

Eichel is the real deal. Can't imagine a rivalry wont form sooner or later. Matthews vs Eichel, Nylander vs Nylander, Rielly vs Risto.

He looks good, no doubt. Just don't see him in the same tier as Matthews nor McDavid. Imagining how Matthews will look next year with even marginally better line mates and more acclimation to the league is tantalizing.
