Why do so many people think Clarkson will "turn it around" next season? These people must be completely unfamiliar with Clarkson's career in the NHL. He has 181 pts in 484 NHL games. This equates to 0.37 PPG and 30.3 points in an 82 game season. Also, this whole "former 30 goal scorer" is a bunch of a ********. Kulemin hit 30 goals once and guess what? It's never going to happen again. Clarkson has 102 goals in 484 games, equating to 0.21 goals per game and 17.2 goals per season. Who in their right mind would ever give a 30 year old, career 30 pt player a $5.25M contract for 7 years?
