Nothing I love more than Hab fans being humbled. Hope it lasts for ten more years. I don’t see them competing with the leafs, tb, Boston or Florida anytime soon. Buffalo could be like the leafs of two seasons ago soon once they add this years pick, Nylander, middlestat etc. Habs will be bottom dwellers for a while.

A good friend of mine suggested at the start of the year that he would never trade the leafs roster for the Habs roster. Lets just say I remind him that he is the only GM worse than Bergeron.

I’m not giving you crap, i’m explaining why the notion has some worth. McElhinney has been great, but he just played a game and a half, the last facing 40 shots, it’s not unreasonable to think Sparks could see a game before going back to McElhinney if Andersen is still out.

I doubt he's exhausted given the small workload he's shouldered.

I understand people love the "new toys" in the line up, but the net belongs to McElhinney.....he's earned it and there is no good reason to bypass him tonight.
