leading scorer for the devils this year and last which says something in itself about their lack of depth, leafs should be able to capitalize on this one but this is the kind of game they tend to disappear

Are they? They are just .20 goals against better then us, which puts them 20th compared to our 23rd ranking. Dallas is dead last, but it's not the 'complete opposite' of New Jersey by any means.

They are also 19th in shots against.

Not quite the complete opposite of Dallas. Just a little better.

Also, New Jersey is 25th in goals for, surrounded by great teams like Buffalo, Carolina, Winnipeg, Florida, Edmonton and Columbus.

Any team will be a challenge for the Leafs since they can be very inconsistent. Let's hope we play an effective game again. We need to win games against teams like this.

I have the utmost respect for Deboer, his teams play a boring style, but in the long run it is a more sustainable style of play that keeps them in the playoff race.
