my only issue with that extrapolated view is that why didnt we hear a clank or why didnt the puck bounce accordingly to hitting the post. im just want the a slowed down view released so its all resolved

Because the shot wasn't at crossbar level. Look at the bottom post. Meth's shot was around mid net so it seems like it just missed the post.
