If the Leafs play in a "weak division" with crazy-high scoring offense.

A lot of HF users say that Leafs are #1 for GF/Game because they play in the North. That's why they're #1.

Than why are the Leafs #5 in the NHL FOR GA/Game?
If the North has such high-scoring crazy offense, isn't it even more impressive that the Leafs are TOP5 in the NHL for GA/Game? You can make an argument that they should be #1 for GA since they play in such a high scoring division.

Thus, the Leafs are the team to beat this year. They are the best team in the NHL's first 22 games so far.

Any objectioins?

If you ever have kids you should hold them back a couple years so they can be big enough to beat up all the other kids in their grade.

The highest placing team in the north last year was 12th overall in the league. It is a weak division, no need to get defensive. Leafs are doing what they need to do and that's to beat up on the other teams. Good for them.

Yeah, and then their coach got fired and they were playing on pace with the better teams in the NHL

St. Louis won the Stanley Cup while finishing 12th in the league also

Points percentage means literally nothing because you only play teams within. What kinda argument is that?
Huh? It's the only division with that many over .600 which shows it's not just one or two teams beating up on the others.

The North is the most offensively efficient division in the NHL. Correct?

Schiefle, Toffoli, Ehlers, McDavid, Wheeler, Kyle Connor, Gaudreau, Boeser, Petterson.

If the leafs are simply "beating up on bad teams", how do they have the 5th best GA/Game in the NHL? Don't they play in the supposedly "crazy high-offense" division. Playing the greatest player in the NHL in Connor McDavid and his crony Draisaitl several times. Also, shutting out these offensively gifted teams?
